                            Information for Poster Presenters

Poster Discussion Sessions

All scientific posters will be displayed in the Exhibition Hall of Brunei International Convention Centre. Poster discussion sessions will be held in the Exhibition Hall at 3:30 - 5.00pm on Saturday  23 August. During these times, presenting authors are required to stand next to their poster to be available for discussion.

Poster Specifications

  • Posters must be written in English and should display the following:
    • Title of poster
    • Name of all authors, co-authors and affiliations
    • Introduction
    • Methods
    • Results (images or visually attractive graphs or basic data tables are preferred)
    • Conclusion
  • Posters must not extend beyond the boundaries of the poster board (board measure: approx. 0.9m wide x 2m long)
  • Set-up
  • Poster set-up time is on Friday 22 August, 8.30am-5.00pm. All posters must be on display by 7:30am Saturday 23 August and should be on continuous display until the end of the conference.

    Presenters must supply their own:

    • Sufficient quantity of velcro dots/strips to attach their poster to the poster board (note that BluTac, double sided tape, thumb tacs or push pins will not be appropriate).
    • Approximately 50 x A4-size handouts placed near a clear plastic sleeve attached (using Velcro dots/strips) to the foot of the poster board.
  • Removal
  • Posters must be removed on Sunday 24 August, 2.30pm-3.30pm. It will be the presenter’s responsibility to remove their poster and there is no guarantee that uncollected posters will be available after the conference.
