Message from Chairman of Organizing Committee

Dear Colleagues,

It is a great pleasure for me to extend my cordial invitation to all colleagues and members of ASEAN Association for Clinical Laboratory Sciences and other healthcare professionals to participate in the 12^th ASEAN Conference of Clinical Laboratory Scientists (ACCLS) to be held in Bandar Seri Begawan, Negara Brunei Darussalam on 22^nd - 24^th August 2008.

The Organizing Committee has been working very hard to ensure that the conference continues to provide an unparalleled opportunity, to learn about cutting-edge development in laboratory medicine, share scientific expertise relevant to diagnostic work in the face of constant changes in medicine and public health areas, to discuss the latest advances and sharing the state-of-art technology in clinical laboratory sciences. Besides providing showcases of exciting advance technology in laboratory medicine, this conference will also strengthen the cooperative relationship among relevant organizations through exchange of information and mutual discussion. I believe, this conference will contribute towards upgrading the role of medical laboratory professionals in the region and at the same time educating the public about the value of our profession to healthcare
